HRV text export does not contain all RR intervals

Post by grad1618 » Wed Oct 04, 2017 9:12 pm

Hello,

I have collected about 8 hours of ECG data along with other parameters at 10 KHz sampling.

I wanted to export RR interval data, so I first ran the HRV module on the entire ECG channel and then exported the text file (File>Export...>HRV RR Interval Text File (*.txt)).

I noticed that only the last 6.5 hours (122,290 data points) of the RR data were in the exported text file - missing the first ~1.5 hours.

I was wondering if there is a reason for this.

Also, is there a way to export RR interval data along with time-stamps for each ECG QRS complex? I made a macro that runs through the file adding each RR-interval and time-stamp to the datapad, but it is extremely slow for a large file.

Any help is much appreciated! Thanks

As a follow-up, I just halved the labchart file and tried to export the first half of the RR interval data.

It looks like the same ~1.5 hour section of data was not able to be exported to a text file from the first-half labchart file.

Maybe something wrong with that first portion of the files...

Nevermind, I figured out that I had "Exclude ectopics from analysis". Now all RR intervals show up in the exported text file.

Hope this helps someone else down the line...

It still would be nice to be able to quickly export the HRV RR intervals along with their respective timestamps and a description of what type of beat they are (normal, unused, ectopic).
