HRV module frequency units

Postby laura.a.jones » Thu Jan 19, 2017 4:19 pm

I am looking at HF HRV in infants and I was comparing my data to other papers to determine if my range of data was considered normal. I have found that a normal range is around 10-220 square milliseconds but my data is showing 2-400 and the units are apparently square microseconds!! This would be so different to the normal range once you convert to square milliseconds. Is it possible that the units in the HRV module report are incorrect?

Hi Laura,

Apologies for the inconvenience, the HRV units are displayed incorrectly and we are planning to fix this issue in the next release of LabChart.

Cheers,
Amy
